Important Announcements

Effective Monday, September 19, 2022, the Birchwood Area Food Pantry (BAFP) will reopen the building to in-store shopping only.

 

Procedures:

• Days of operation are the first and third Monday of each month.

• Hours of operation are 10 am – 1 pm

• Only 3 shoppers will be allowed in the building at any time.

• Call 715-651-3405 to register when you arrive.

• You will register by phone and you will receive a shopping number (eg 1, 2, 3, etc) which indicates the order in which you will begin shopping.

• When your shopping number is displayed in the parking area, you will enter the building and begin shopping. 

• Masks are recommended if you have not been vaccinated.

• Volunteers will be available to assist you.

• At checkout, groceries will be weighed and placed in bags that will be provided.

• After checkout, you will load your groceries and vacate the parking area to allow others to shop.

• Grocery carts will not be allowed in the parking area.

• If you are picking up groceries for yourself and another family, you will receive another shopping number for the additional shopper when you leave the building.

• We are thankful that we are able to provide you with food and appreciate your cooperation with these new procedures.
