The Birchwood Area Food Pantry, Inc. relies solely on donations of food, money and time from our community. We do not receive funding from any Federal, State or local governments. With donated money we can purchase food from Feed My People, a non-profit food depository affiliated with Second Harvest Heartland, and take advantage of exceptionally low food prices, food donations direct from the food producers and distributors. Every dollar donated can purchase as much as $7.00 worth of food from this food depository.
Donations of seasonal items are always appreciated, especially donations of fresh fruits and vegetables. Just give us a call to make arrangements for delivery or pick-up of these items. 612-247-4591.

Toiletries and cereals collected for Food Pantry
The Birchwood Area Food Pantry will be collecting much needed toiletries for our clients. Items such as toothpaste, bar soap, shampoo and most needed are breakfast cereals. There is a bin box in the back of St. John’s church as well as a basket at Long Lake Lutheran, Trinity and the Methodist church for this purpose. Whatever you can do would be most appreciated! WE WELCOME YOUR DONATION
All donations received will go directly to the general fund and will be used for the purchase of food and the expense of day-to-day operations. If you like, you may designate a specific use for your donation, just indicate where you would like your donation put to use on the memo line of your check. All donations are tax exempt to the extent the law allows.
